Outside prospecting of less than 30 hours per week to develop and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, banks, financial planners, and the community at large. Consult with borrowers to determine their best options for financing. Assisting borrowers in all facets to navigate the application, approval and closing process in obtaining a mortgage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Engage in selling loan products outside the office more than 50% of the time worked
- Submitting Loans, working efficiently with borrower, branch and corporate office
- Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of:
- Current Rates and Products
- Company Policy and Procedures
- Regulatory Compliance Requirements
- Company provided tools – working within our LOS, POS, and other systems
- All Loan programs: Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, Non-QM
- Maintain state licensing & all continuing education requirements
- Effectively use all marketing channels available
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Real Estate professionals to garner business
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved, including, but not limited to:
- Regional Manager, Branch Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Staff and Borrowers
- Attend and comprehend company trainings, meetings & complete all company trainings as required
- Present a professional image and demeanor both within the company and externally to all.
- Maintain necessary knowledge to successfully perform job responsibilities

MINIMUM PRODUCTION STANDARDS
- Minimum of 1 Loan funded within each quarter / 4 Loans annually
QUALIFICATIONS
- NMLS License specific to state of employment and for each state where originating loans is REQUIRED
- Residential mortgage banking knowledge and experience in negotiations or sales is required
- Minimum of two years job related experience
- Some college course work in business or finance preferred. Basic math skills
- Basic knowledge of PCs and related Microsoft office application
- Self-motivated with strong desire to succeed
- Detailed oriented with ability to multi task
- Strong sales ability and drive within a team-oriented atmosphere
- Strong interpersonal & written communication skills
- Professionalism and integrity are essential
- Ability to read and interpret mortgage documents, real estate sales contracts, valuation forms and attorney correspondence, and company policies and procedures
- Strong ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Ability to problem solve under a variety of situations and circumstances
